Using the right coffee and following proper coffee enema brewing instructions will make your coffee enema experience safe and highly beneficial. Coffee enemas have been known to help with pain, nausea and are an excellent to help your body detox by supporting the liver.
Here are the things you will need to make your enema coffee:
- Enema bag – I like this one from amazon
- Organic coffee – I recommend using bulletproof coffee medium roast. If you can’t find it, make sure to use organic dark roast coffee (not French roast and not enema coffee sold online)
- A fine mesh reusable coffee filter
- 2 wide mouth 4 cup mason jars, you can usually ind these for very cheap at the local hardware store.
- optional: a pressure cooker – I really like my instapot which I use daily for this and vegetables.
PRESSURE COOKER METHOD (recommended)
Makes 8 cups – 4 enemas
Poor 4 cups of spring or distilled water in your pressure cooker.
- Add 2 & 2/3 tbsp of ground coffee.
- Place top on and make sure vent is closed.
- Press pressure cook and set to the lowest time 1 or 5 min depending on your machine type.
- When the unit has reached the right temperature it will beep, count to 15 and press cancel.
- Quick pressure release
- When steam is done releasing, open top and strain coffee through a fine mesh coffee filter.
- Poor 2 cups into each mason jar and fill remaining 2 cups with spring or distilled water.
- Store in fridge until ready to use.
- Heat to warm-hot on stove and poor into your enema bag.
STOVE TOP METHOD
Makes 8 cups – 4 enemas
Poor 4 cups of spring or distilled water in a stainless steel pot..
- Add 4 tbsp of ground coffee.
- Bring to a boil.
- Cover, turn down heat and simmer for 12 minutes.
- When done strain coffee through a fine mesh coffee filter.
- Poor 2 cups into each mason jar and fill remaining 2 cups with spring or distilled water.
- Store in fridge until ready to use.
- Heat to warm-hot on stove and poor into your enema bag.
